Paracas
The Paracas National Reserve (Reserva Nacional de Paracas) is a stunning protected area on Peru’s southern coast, known for its rich biodiversity, unique landscapes, and archaeological significance. Located in the Ica Region, near the town of Paracas, the reserve spans approximately 3,350 square kilometers (1,293 square miles), including both desert and marine ecosystems. It is one of the most important natural reserves in Peru.
